Your Responsibilities:

• Design and implement embedded software in C/C++ for smart home devices (sensors, actuators, controllers, drive units)
• Develop software on bare-metal systems or with real-time operating systems (RTOS)
• Conduct integration and system testing to ensure quality and reliability
• Analyse requirements and design modular, scalable software architectures
• Maintain and improve existing software codebases
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders, customers, and suppliers to define interfaces and produce documentation

Your Profile:

• Degree in Electrical Engineering, Information Technology, or Computer Science
• Several years of experience in embedded software development
• Proficiency in C/C++ and version control tools (e.g. Git)
• Desirable: knowledge of wireless protocols such as Zigbee and Matter over Thread
• Experience with Atlassian tools (Jira, Confluence) is a plus
• Analytical mindset with a conceptual and agile approach to development
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to thrive in a team environment
• Confident use of MS Office applications
• Fluent in both German and English (spoken and written)
