About the Role

We’re looking for an experienced Azure DevOps Engineer to join the engineering function and take ownership of CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure automation, and deployment workflows across Azure.

You’ll be embedded into the product team and work closely with both development and operations to ensure scalable, secure, and efficient delivery of services. This role offers a mix of hands-on DevOps work and continuous improvement, with scope to bring fresh ideas to how things are done.

Hybrid role with minimal onsite (twice per month in Dublin, travel paid).

Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps (Pipelines, Repos, Artifacts, Boards, Test Plans)
• Automate infrastructure using Terraform, ARM templates, or Azure Bicep
• Manage Azure environments (App Services, AKS, Functions, VMs, SQL, Networking)
• Write and maintain automation scripts in PowerShell, Bash or Python
• Manage containerised deployments using Docker and Kubernetes
• Implement monitoring and alerting using Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and Application Insights
• Embed security, governance, and compliance via Azure Key Vault, Policies, and RBAC
• Support release cycles, troubleshooting and root cause analysis for production incidents
• Collaborate across teams to evolve internal DevOps practices and documentation

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a DevOps role, ideally within an Azure-focused environment
• Strong working knowledge of Azure DevOps services (Pipelines, Repos, Boards etc)
• Proficient with Terraform and/or Bicep for Infrastructure as Code
• Experience managing and deploying to Azure container services (Docker/Kubernetes)
• Comfortable with Git, scripting (PowerShell/Bash/Python), and automation best practices
• Strong understanding of Azure security, networking, and monitoring tools
• Based in Dublin

Nice to Have

• Microsoft Certified: Azure DevOps Engineer Expert
• Experience in regulated environments or compliance-driven industries
• Exposure to Cosmos DB, Azure AD, or third-party API integrations
