Business Analyst

Our client, a leading organisation in the wealth and asset management sector, is seeking a skilled Systems Analyst or Business Analyst for a 6-month daily rate contract. This is an opportunity to contribute to high-impact transformation initiatives within a highly regulated and dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Elicit, analyse, and document business and system requirements in collaboration with internal stakeholders
• Facilitate workshops and stakeholder interviews to define current and future-state processes
• Translate business needs into functional and technical specifications for internal IT and vendor teams
• Support project delivery through testing coordination, change impact assessment, and post-implementation review
• Assist in system enhancement efforts linked to regulatory, operational, or product-related change initiatives
• Maintain clear documentation and communication throughout the project lifecycle

Candidate Profile

• Minimum 5 years’ experience as a Business Analyst, Systems Analyst, or hybrid Analyst within the financial services domain
• Demonstrated experience in wealth management, asset management, fund administration, or financial planning platforms
• Strong grasp of business process mapping, data flows, and integration points across front, middle, and back-office functions
• Proven ability to bridge technical and business teams in a fast-paced environment
• Familiarity with Agile or Waterfall methodologies and SDLC processes
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a keen eye for detail

Desirable Experience

• Exposure to investment platforms, portfolio management systems, or CRM solutions in the wealth domain
• Understanding of regulatory frameworks impacting the sector (e.g., MiFID II, SFDR, etc.)
• Experience working with third-party vendors or system integrators
