We are looking:

We’re seeking a talented and driven DevOps Engineer to join our startup as the first dedicated DevOps hire. In this foundational role, you'll lead the transition from our incubator-hosted infrastructure to a self-managed, scalable, and secure cloud environment — setting the stage for long-term growth and reliability.

Get Ready To:

• Define and lead the development of our DevOps strategy and long-term roadmap
• Architect and deploy secure, scalable cloud infrastructure (with a strong focus on AWS)
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines and streamline deployment workflows
• Set up robust monitoring, logging, and observability systems (e.g., DataDog)
• Implement and uphold best practices for security, cost efficiency, and operations
• Mentor developers and, as the team grows, support the onboarding of future DevOps engineers
• Take full ownership of incident response and ensure production stability

We Expect You To:

• Operate autonomously across all DevOps initiatives, from strategy to execution
• Have solid, hands-on experience with AWS, Kubernetes, Docker, and Terraform/OpenTofu
• Apply security best practices across infrastructure, CI/CD, and operations
• Demonstrate a strong track record of building or scaling production environments in fast-moving teams
• Collaborate effectively with leadership, developers, and cross-functional stakeholders
• Contribute to a strong engineering culture through mentorship and standardization
• Be fluent in both English and Lithuanian

Our Tech Stack (Current & Future)

• Version Control & CI/CD: GitLab (self-managed), standardized pipelines, cloud-native buildpacks
• Cloud Infrastructure: AWS (EKS, RDS, S3, SQS, ElastiCache, OpenSearch)
• Infrastructure as Code: OpenTofu (Terraform)
• Monitoring & Logging: DataDog (or similar observability platform)
• Containers & Orchestration: Kubernetes, Docker

Salary

Gross salary range is 4500 - 7500 EUR/month.
