VBS is currently looking for a hands-on and autonomous Project Manager.

As project Manager, your main objective is to lead the end-to-end delivery of IT and business projects, both for clients and internal stakeholders.

You will play a key role in translating strategy into action by ensuring project execution is aligned with business goals, delivered on time and within budget, and contributing to long-term value.

You will report to the Project Management Team Manager.

You will be in charge of:

• Define and manage project scope, deliverables, and success criteria in collaboration with project stakeholders;
• Develop detailed project plans including timeline, budget, and secure resource allocation;
• Conduct project risk assessments and define mitigation strategies;
• Lead and coordinate cross-functional teams across all project phases;
• Monitor progress, identify issues, and drive their resolutions;
• Ensure structured and regular communication with project stakeholders, PMO, and management;
• Monitor project budgets and ensure sound financial management;
• Guarantee the quality of deliverables and ensure operational readiness ahead of project closure;
• Maintain up-to-date project documentation using appropriate tools;
• Ensure a seamless transition from project to operations.

You will also contribute to:

• Project Portfolio planning and alignment with company priorities;
• Governance processes and the continuous improvement of project management practices.

To be successful in this role, you need:

• Professional experience & technical skills
• A Bachelor degree in Computer Science (IT), Engineering, Project Management or equivalent academic background;
• Minimum 5 years of experience in Project Management, ideally in IT and/or business integration;
• Solid knowledge of project methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, Hybrid);
• Strong analytical skills and risk management capabilities;
• Experience with project management tools such as Jira, MS Project, or equivalents;
• Advanced proficiency with the MS Office Suite and digital collaboration tools (e.g., Teams, SharePoint).
• Languages
• Fluent in English (spoken and written); French is a strong asset. German or other languages are a plus depending on project context.

• Excellent leadership and team coordination abilities;
• Strategic and solution-oriented approach to complex environments;
• Effective communicator with strong stakeholder management skills;
• Resilient and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
