Your Mission, Roles And Responsibilities

The role of a Material Planner is to verify that production line delivery aligns with minimum stock targets and logistics costs.

The Main Missions Of The Role Are

  • Build up the Procurement Program by splitting up and levelling pieces procurements
  • Follow up the Procurement Program realisation by managing alert systems and follow the unloading, receipt and the transportation of pieces
  • Follow up the delivery performance of suppliers (supplier Misdeliveries Per Million) and the service of logistics partners and propose improvement action plans
  • Check if the capacity defined by the PIC (Sales and Production Plan) can be supported by suppliers and set up corrective actions when necessary
  • Achieve the transportation program on a monthly basis, and the transportation scheme half-yearly
  • Direct packaging management
  • Ensure that logistics conventions compliance with purchasing objectives and support conditions set by supplier for procurement and packaging, and by logistics partners for transport and service


Your profile and competencies to succeed

Minimum education level: Degree in Engineering, Management (preferably) or similar

Experience

  • 1 year experience in production in an industrial environment
