DevOps Engineer

Robert Half are working on an exciting job opportunity for an ambitious and highly skilled DevOps Engineer.

We are looking for a DevOps Engineer with more than 5 years of experience in the market. Our client is a leading technology company located in West Dublin. The position is hybrid, with 2 days WFH per week.

The Role and Your Profile

Responsibilities:

• Manage IT infrastructure, middleware, CI/CD tools and cloud platforms like AWS
• Automate operational processes fast, accurately and without errors.
• Collaborate with software engineers to make sure our systems meet the set requirements.
• Ensure system stability, scalability, security and high performance.
• Take an active role in the design and implementation of application build, release, deployment, and configuration activities.
• Help foster best practices in DevOps methodologies within the team.

Requirements:

• Minimum 5 years of experience working as a DevOps Engineer.
• Excellent knowledge of AWS and Terraform
• Proficiency in Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment methodologies.
• Demonstrable expertise in working with cloud-based infrastructure in AWS or similar.
• Excellent knowledge of Docker or similar containerization technologies.
• Proficient understanding of code versioning tools like Git.
• Exceptional problem-solving skills.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Irish / EU Citizen (Due to company quota's which need to be met)
