Senior Kotlin Engineer

Our Customer is the European R&D center for the biggest world leading brands. Together, we will work on a new electric mobility technology and solutions that aim to satisfy the global demand for premium electric vehicles.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience in Software Engineering
• Experience in the Automotive domain
• Experience developing Android mobile native applications in Kotlin
• Extensive experience with Android SDK (including UI components, sensors, navigation, and resource management)
• Strong knowledge of the Android Platform and its components.
• Understanding of Android Interface Guidelines
• Proficiency in version control systems such as Git.
• Knowledge of design patterns, OOP/OOD, and Clean Code principles (SOLID, GRASP, etc.)
• Knowledge of REST, Network Clients and Layers, Network Security
• Experienced in Testing frameworks and methodologies (unit tests, UI tests)

Will be a plus:

• Knowledge of AI/ML models, especially integrating conversational AI like ChatGPT into Android applications

Responsibilities:

• Design and build UI for in-car AI-powered voice assistant
• Integrate voice assistant with backend services to deliver a natural conversational experience
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code
• Ensure the application's performance, reliability, and usability in the automotive context, considering safety and distraction concerns
• Perform code reviews
