UI/UX Designer

Job Description

We are looking for a UI/UX designer to join our digital department for the Enterprise Business Group. The UI/UX developer/designer will be responsible for end-to-end solution from research through to ideation, prototyping, design, user testing, development handoff, and development oversight in an Agile iterative environment.

The UI/UX developer/designer will understand business requirements, integrate front-end technologies to merge the technical architecture with creative designs and design direction.

To achieve this integrated approach, he/she will need to be able to understand the needs and requirements of the business. Have a fundamental understanding of the creative aesthetic while implementing technically across a variety of platforms and frameworks, as well as participate in sizing user stories, backlog refinement and sprint planning.

Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in User Interface/ User Experience or related field with at least 3 years of experience in creating and implementing interaction design.
• Ideally familiar with Agile/SCRUM practices.
• Adaptable in dynamic environment.
• Go beyond usability research, to be able to spot improvements needed to meet business goals of increasing sales/improving experience.
• Proficient with visual design using the tool Figma.
• Able to work effectively in a collaborative environment to create top-performing interfaces
• Experience creating storyboards and site mapping
• Continued education and research into UI trends, and good understanding of the impact of technologies for front-end interactions
• Experience with coding and ability to troubleshoot using HTML, CSS and comparable languages would be added advantage
