Kforce has a client in need of a Remote Golang API Software Engineer. Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend systems and services
- Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code from concept through production
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver secure, performant, and reliable software
- Contribute to architectural decisions and platform strategy
- Build tools and services for data movement and API integrations using Golang
- Participate in sprint planning, code reviews, and continuous improvement initiatives
- Contribute to frontend development
- Deploy and manage infrastructure in AWS and Azure using tools like Ansible and Terraform
- Ensure data integrity and performance across SQL and NoSQL databases
- Support CI/CD pipelines and automation processes
- 5+ years of professional experience building and shipping commercial software
- Passion for software engineering and building impactful solutions
- Mastery of at least one programming language
- Experience with multi-tenant, cloud-based delivery models
- Strong understanding of data performance tuning and large-scale data handling
- Familiarity with AWS and Azure services
- Experience with SQL and NoSQL database design and interaction
- Exposure to big data tools like Hadoop, Spark, or Presto is a plus
- Proficiency with development tools and processes: Git, Jira, CI/CD, test automation
- Strong communication skills and ability to work in a remote, collaborative environment
