We are looking for talented, highly motivated and tenacious Associate Project Manager for our Service department at Vestas Asia-Pacific & China (APAC).


Vestas Asia-Pacific & China (APAC) is a Vestas sales business unit with operations in Australia and New Zealand, Philippines, Thailand, Shri Lanka, India, Vietnam, Taiwan, South Korea, Japan, Mongolia and China. We are responsible for the Sales, Project, Installation and Service of wind farms throughout these regions.


Project management office (PMO) department within the APAC service is responsible for ensuring the smooth implementation of global and regional projects by establishing governance frameworks, aligning with corporate standards, and supporting project managers with planning, execution, and reporting. It partners with sub-regional teams to identify and prioritize strategic initiatives, maintains a centralized project portfolio, and provides tools, templates, and training to ensure consistency and quality. The PMO also tracks cost-out initiatives to drive operational efficiency, and serves as a communication hub for stakeholders, ensuring transparency, alignment on strategic projects.



Qualifications:


• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Renewable Energy, or a related field.

• 3-5 years of experience in project coordination, project support, or a similar role-preferably in the energy, industrial services, or infrastructure sectors.

• Familiarity with project management principles and tools (e.g., MS Project, Excel, SAP, Jira, or similar platforms).

• Basic understanding of cost tracking, risk management, Change management and performance reporting.

• CAPM, PRINCE2 Foundation, or equivalent certification is a plus but not mandatory.


Responsibilities:

• Support the planning and execution of Strategic regional and global projects by assisting with scheduling, task coordination, and progress tracking.

• Collaborate with sub-regional teams to identify project opportunities, gather inputs, and ensure alignment with strategy.

• Facilitate effective communication among stakeholders by organizing meetings, preparing summaries, and ensuring timely follow-ups and issue resolution.

• Assist in tracking cost-out initiatives, maintaining risk logs, and supporting continuous improvement efforts through data collection and reporting.

• Use project management tools to update task statuses, generate reports, and support governance of sub-regional projects
