We’re looking for a talented Middle Node.js Engineer to join an innovative, mission-driven team in Argentina, ideally based in Buenos Aires or Córdoba.

This is you

3+ years of formal backend development with Node.js and TypeScript;
Strong understanding of modular architecture, debugging, layered design, and design patterns (MVC, Clean);
Proficiency with testing tools such as Jest, Mocha, or Supertest;
Experience working with SQL/NoSQL databases (e.g., DynamoDB, Redis);
Experience with AWS services: Lambda, S3, EC2, RDS, Secrets Manager, and SQS;
Comfortable with CI/CD and DevOps tools: Git, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, CodePipeline;
Openness and ability to work with AI tools integrated into the development workflow;
Knowledge of English at least at an Intermediate level for effective communication in a global environment.

Nice-to-have skills:

Prior work in tech companies, delivering functionalities in production environments;
University or tertiary degree in systems, technology, or a related field;
Basic experience with Angular (for UI team collaboration);
Familiarity with REST APIs and handling sensitive variables (.env files).

This is your role

Develop reusable and scalable backend components using Node.js and TypeScript;
Design, implement, and evolve backend architecture, focusing on performance, security, and maintainability;
Implement authentication, middleware, security best practices, and secret management solutions;
Write automated tests (unit, integration, end-to-end) and actively participate in code reviews;
Collaborate with cross-functional squads, document development processes, and share knowledge with junior developers;
Integrate backend solutions with AWS services and CI/CD pipelines (GitLab, Jenkins, GitHub Actions);
Work closely with UI teams, occasionally contributing to Angular projects as needed.
