This position is Paris-based, with relocation support available.

Team

You will be an integral part of a newly established internal studio, a dynamic and focused team dedicated to elevating some of the most promising game concepts emerging from our innovative prototyping teams. This studio is specifically chartered to take high-potential prototypes and evolve them into successful, market-ready titles.

In this exciting role, your initial focus will be on This is Blast!, a game that has already demonstrated significant promise and captured our attention with their compelling core mechanics and engaging gameplay.

You'll have the opportunity to contribute directly to the growth and refinement of This is Blast!, leveraging its existing traction to build a truly exceptional player experience. This is a unique chance to join a project with established momentum while still having a significant impact on the future direction within a dedicated and agile studio environment.

Role

  • Work closely with game designers, artists, and developers developing the creative vision and bringing it to life while maintaining technical efficiency. This is a chance to leave your mark in a future success story.
  • Bring your artistic excellence designing and delivering final assets that plug directly into Unity
  • Optimize game assets, shaders, and rendering pipelines for smooth performance on mobile devices.
  • Develop tools and scripts in Unity to streamline the workflow for artists and developers.
  • Ensure asset optimization (compression, polygon count, texture sizes) & optimal import into Unity without sacrificing quality.
  • Explore new techniques and workflows to unlock the art team’s full potential.
  • Thrive in a fast-paced startup environment.

Profile

  • Experience: 3+ years as an Technical Artist or similar position on shipped mobile games
  • You don’t need a developer to integrate your assets. You should have Unity experience, asset implementation & UI assembly for 2D and 3D assets.
  • Basic knowledge of shaders, and materials in Unity
  • Understanding of mobile game constraints (performance, memory, draw calls, batching)
  • Knowledge of 3D modeling , texturing workflows (Photoshop, Substance and experience with Maya, including MEL scripting and tooling)
  • Ability to debug and optimize art assets and rendering issues.
