DevOps Engineer (All Genders)

Location: Cologne – hybrid work model with occasional on-site meetings (around 4 times per year)

Your role:

You will take ownership of operating and evolving complex public and private cloud environments (AWS and Azure). Your work will focus on optimizing cloud architecture, performance, and cost-efficiency. You’ll be integrating internal and external systems, managing SSO solutions, and automating infrastructure using CI/CD pipelines and tools like Kubernetes, OpenTofu, and Docker. Collaboration within a multidisciplinary team and continuous knowledge sharing are key aspects of the role.

Your profile:

• Several years of hands-on experience with AWS and/or Azure
• Comfortable managing both Linux and Windows production systems
• Proven expertise in SSO implementations in complex environments
• Strong skills in automation, CI/CD, infrastructure as code
• Experience with container orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes)
• Familiarity with networking, DNS, storage, and databases
• Confident scripting with Bash and ideally some Python
• Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset
• Willingness to attend team meetings in Cologne about 4 times a year
