Front-end Engineer

Support and Service Team in Riga is currently seeking for a skilled Front-end Engineer to join the team and contribute to the development of high-quality project with focus on web and mobile applications. We welcome both mid-level engineers eager to grow and senior engineers ready to take on more responsibility.

What we expect from You

• 4+ years of commercial development experience;
• Strong knowledge of JavaScript, CSS, and HTML;
• Experience with React and React Native (as we develop both web and mobile applications);
• Proficiency in Redux and TypeScript;
• Understanding of REST APIs and WebSockets;
• Ability to debug both your own code and third-party libraries;
• A problem-solving mindset with a focus on solutions rather than obstacles;
• Initiative in adopting new approaches and technologies within the Node.js/React/React Native ecosystem.

Nice to have

• Experience with testing frameworks (Jest, React Testing Library);
• Understanding of SOLID principles and design patterns;
• Familiarity with Node.js, Docker, and GitLab CI/CD;
• Experience with Storybook, Webpack, and Vite;
• Knowledge of Git submodules;
• Willingness to mentor other team members.

What You will do

• Develop web and mobile applications;
• Perform code reviews to maintain high code quality across the team;
• Write and maintain test cases;
• Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following best practices;
• Create and update technical documentation for the codebase;
• Communicate effectively with cross-functional teams.
