AWS Solution Architect

We are looking for a Solution Architect with expertise in AWS to work with one of the leading global financial markets infrastructure and data providers.

Together with 20+ architect peers, delivery teams and senior stakeholders, you will focus on delivering advanced index management capabilities, while also re-architecting and migrating benchmark/index-related client applications to AWS.

Responsibilities

• Build solution designs and application architectures aligned with our Data & Analytics principles
• Mentor technical leads and external consultants, sharing your domain knowledge and expertise
• Collaborate with business / technology stakeholders to deliver current & target state analyses and create transition roadmaps
• Promote policies, procedures and best design practice principles
• Analyze business requirements to identify flexible, pragmatic design changes to development and production architecture
• Participate in vendor selection and gap analysis
• Work with vendors to understand and influence their roadmaps to support our strategic objectives
• Develop and facilitate Proof of Concept demos for choosing new concepts or technology
• Build trusted relationships trust with infrastructure and information security functions
  
  
  

Requirements

• Degree in science or IT discipline
• Architecture backround in covering common design patterns and platforms (micro-services, data lakes, APIs, RDBMS and NoSQL databases)
• Knowledge of formal design and SDLC methodologies (Agile/SAFe)
• Production experience in designing solutions in distributed highly resilient environments
• Understanding of integrating enterprise application solutions andinformation security
• Strong skills in Cloud solution design and architecture inboth native and IaaS (ideally on AWS)
• Expertise in handling design dependencies on a highly complicated matrix structured organization
• Proficiency in Asset Management (Fixed Income, Equities and Multi-Asset Portfolio Analytics)

Salary range €5.6K-€7.2K gross, based on your experience and interview results.
