We are looking:

We’re looking for a skilled and motivated DevOps Architect to join our startup as the first DevOps hire. In this foundational role, you’ll lead the design and implementation of our entire infrastructure, helping us transition from an incubator-hosted setup to a scalable, secure, and self-managed environment as we grow.

Get Ready To:

• Define and own the company’s DevOps architecture and long-term infrastructure roadmap.
• Design and implement secure, scalable cloud infrastructure (primarily AWS).
• Architect CI/CD pipelines and establish standardized deployment workflows.
• Set up robust monitoring, logging, and observability systems (e.g., DataDog).
• Define and enforce best practices for security, cost-efficiency, and operational excellence.
• Mentor developers and guide future DevOps hires as the team expands.
• Lead incident response strategy and ensure production system reliability.

We Expect You To:

• Take full ownership of DevOps strategy and execution with minimal oversight.
• Have deep hands-on expertise with AWS, Kubernetes, Docker, and Terraform/OpenTofu.
• Be well-versed in security best practices across infrastructure and deployment processes.
• Have a proven track record of designing and scaling production systems in fast-moving environments.
• Work closely with leadership and cross-functional teams to align infrastructure with business needs.
• Help set engineering standards and mentor team members as we scale.
• Be fluent in both English and Lithuanian.

Our Tech Stack (Current & Future)

• We are in the process of defining our DevOps stack, but here are some tools we expect to use:
• Version Control & CI/CD: GitLab (self-managed), standardized pipelines, cloud-native buildpacks.
• Cloud Infrastructure: AWS (EKS, RDS, S3, SQS, Elasticache, OpenSearch).
• Infrastructure as Code: OpenTofu (Terraform).
• Monitoring & Logging: DataDog (or alternative).
• Containers & Orchestration: Kubernetes, Docker.

Salary

Gross salary range is 4500 - 7500 EUR/month.
