About the role

Are you ready to embrace the challenge and join us for our next Academy journey as Business Analyst starting in September 2025?

At 'escent, we have always been giving special attention to continuous talent development.

It is part of our DNA to detect potential among young graduates or professionals and support them to grow as business analysts on IT digital transformation projects.

Our 10-day intensive Academy program covers best practices around business analysis, agile delivery, SQL proficiency, quality assurance, process modeling and soft skills.

The academy training period is combined with a first client assignment under the coaching of a senior consultant in order to boost your consultancy career start!

We work hand-in-hand with our clients to identify an adequate assignment and ensure your smooth start, primarily in banking, financial and insurance sectors.

Profile

• Master’s degree in Finance, IT, Business Engineering, Economics or a related field
• You have just graduated, or you have maximum 18 months of experience in business analysis, functional analysis, finance, process management, project management or testing roles; or you have a first experience in an operational role in the financial, banking or insurance industry
• Strong interest in the financial, banking or insurance industry
• Strong interest in technology, digital transformation and IT systems
• General knowledge of banking activities, including key concepts such as credits, payments, and investments, as well as common banking terminology
• Appetite for digitalization (customer journeys, UX/UI) while understanding banking constraints (security, compliance, regulatory)
• Ability to synthesize and summarize technical, functional or regulatory documentation
• Experience in API documentation and Swagger files and map them to data models is an advantage
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in French and English
• Ability to clearly visualize and formalize operational issues (processes, workflows, etc.)
• Proficiency in MS Office suite (MS Word, MS Excel & MS PowerPoint) is essential
• German or Luxembourgish is considered an asset
