Senior AI Lead

We are now looking for a Senior AI Lead to join our Advisory team. This role requires advanced technical expertise, strategic leadership, and hands-on project implementation experience to drive innovative AI solutions for our clients.

Qualifications:

• University degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field from a reputable institution. A Master’s or Ph.D. in a relevant field is preferred.
• 10+ years of experience in AI, machine learning (ML), deep learning (DL), and traditional AI techniques.
• Extensive hands-on experience with generative AI, large language models (LLMs), and their commercial applications.
• Proven experience in architecting AI solutions, including designing, deploying, and scaling ML/DL models in complex environments.
• Strong command of Python, R, and other programming languages commonly used in data science.
• Advanced knowledge of machine learning frameworks and libraries such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, Keras, and scikit-learn.
• Demonstrated experience in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) for AI and ML model deployment and orchestration.
• Solid understanding of data preprocessing, feature engineering, and model optimization.
• Proven track record in end-to-end project implementation, from requirements gathering to model deployment and post-deployment monitoring.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and technical troubleshooting skills.
• Fluent in English; strong communication skills for presenting complex technical topics to non-technical stakeholders.
• Strong leadership skills and the ability to mentor and guide junior data scientists and engineers.

• Lead the design and architecture of advanced AI solutions, including machine learning, deep learning, and generative AI models, to solve complex business challenges.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including business leaders, data engineers, and clients, to translate business requirements into AI/ML projects and architectures.
• Drive the development and deployment of LLM-based applications and solutions, with a focus on optimizing performance and scalability.
• Provide technical leadership in AI strategy, architecture, and implementation, ensuring alignment with best practices and cutting-edge industry trends.
• Analyze large and complex datasets to extract actionable insights and provide data-driven recommendations for clients.
• Ensure high performance and quality of AI models by designing and executing rigorous experiments and tests.
• Manage AI/ML projects end-to-end, ensuring timely delivery, budget adherence, and the achievement of expected outcomes.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest AI trends and technologies, continuously evolving the team's methodologies and tools.
• Mentor and lead junior AI and data science professionals, fostering a collaborative, innovative, and high-performance culture.
• Act as the AI thought leader within KPMG, strengthening relationships with existing clients and developing new opportunities through AI-driven insights and solutions.
