Executive Director Digital Strategy & Operations
We are seeking a visionary and results-driven Executive Director to lead the strategic direction, operational execution, and business growth of a fast-evolving digital transformation and data services organization. This senior leadership role will play a key part in driving innovation, elevating market positioning, and ensuring operational excellence across all business functions.
The ideal candidate is a transformational leader with deep expertise in digital business, technology delivery, and organizational scaling. You’ll work closely with executive leadership to position the company as a regional and global leader in digital solutions and smart data services.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership & Business Growth
- Define and execute long-term strategic plans focused on digital innovation, operational scalability, and market competitiveness.
- Identify new revenue streams, customer segments, and partnership opportunities.
- Lead cross-functional business units to ensure strategy alignment, operational consistency, and sustained profitability.
- Regularly report to C-level stakeholders on performance, risk, and transformation progress.
Operational Excellence
- Oversee core departments including Special Projects, Technology, Finance, and Support Services, ensuring high-quality service delivery and cost optimization.
- Lead structured organizational design reviews, talent planning, and business process optimization to support growth.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement and high performance.
Technology & Digital Enablement
- Drive adoption of emerging technologies and ensure service offerings remain competitive and future-ready.
- Oversee development and delivery of digital products and data services aligned with customer demand and market trends.
- Maintain awareness of global trends in tech and digital transformation.
Stakeholder Engagement & Market Expansion
- Act as the face of the company in forums, industry events, and government partnerships.
- Build strong relationships with public and private sector stakeholders to strengthen brand presence and client trust.
- Oversee marketing alignment and go-to-market strategy with internal teams.
Governance, Compliance & Financial Oversight
- Ensure regulatory compliance, risk mitigation, and adherence to data security best practices.
- Manage annual budgeting, forecast planning, and financial performance tracking.
- Monitor key business KPIs and implement corrective action plans as needed.
People & Culture Leadership
- Inspire and develop a high-performing leadership team and workforce.
- Lead succession planning, capability development, and performance management.
- Promote diversity, inclusion, and a culture of innovation and sustainability.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Master's degree in Business Administration or equivalent
- 10–15 years of progressive leadership in technology, digital transformation, or data-driven businesses
- Proven experience leading large, multi-functional teams and cross-border operations
- Strong strategic planning, commercial acumen, and execution capability
- Track record in driving transformation initiatives and navigating complex stakeholder environments
- Experience in government partnerships or regulated environments is a plus
