Senior Network Engineer | Singapore

A leading financial technology firm is seeking a Senior Network Engineer to join their high-impact global network engineering team. In this role, you'll help shape and scale one of the most advanced, low-latency network platforms in the industry — powering trading systems across the world.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and operate global networks that span continents and financial markets.
• Collaborate with internal and external partners to optimize low-latency systems and troubleshoot complex network issues.
• Drive innovation by integrating network automation and modern tooling.
• Work closely with software engineers to evolve infrastructure through automation and code.

Requirements

• 5+ years of hands-on network engineering experience
• Real-world network automation (Python, Ansible, or similar tools)
• Deep knowledge of routing/switching protocols: BGP, OSPF, Multicast
• Strong understanding of TCP/IP and the OSI model
• Experience in config management: Ansible, Salt, Puppet, or Chef
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and time management skills
• Passion for technology and continuous learning

Additional Skills

• Experience with Linux tools and systems
• Network security (Fortinet, Palo Alto, CheckPoint)
• SQL and database interaction
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field
