Job Summary:

We are seeking a talented and motivated PHP Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will play a key part in developing and maintaining robust, scalable web applications and services. You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions that support our business objectives and enhance the user experience. The ideal candidate is a proactive problem solver with strong technical expertise in PHP and cloud infrastructure, capable of owning tasks from concept to deployment in a fast paced, agile environment.


Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Work with stakeholders to understand initiatives and implement features.
  • Write well-designed, testable, readable, and scalable code following clean code principles and team standards.
  • Take ownership of tasks and drive them through to completion.
  • Contribute to software deployment and track product progress throughout its lifecycle.
  • Collaborate with other internal teams to ensure alignment and smooth delivery.
  • Participate in discussions and brainstorming sessions to generate high quality ideas.
  • Share knowledge proactively and continuously improve engineering practices.


Required Skills/Abilities:

  • Strong technical expertise and full-stack programming skills with a focus in PHP
  • Proficiency with SQL databases such as MySQL and PostgreSQL
  • Experience with cloud-based infrastructure, preferably Google Cloud
  • Passion for engineering best practices like continuous delivery and automated testing
  • Solid written and verbal communication skills
  • Knowledge of modern authorization mechanisms (e.g., JSON Web Token)
  • Familiarity with modern front-end build pipelines and tools
  • Ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
  • Proficiency with Git


Nice To Haves:

  • Familiarity with GKE or Kubernetes
  • Experience with Terraform and Docker
  • Elasticsearch experience
  • Experience with Vue.js
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies
  • Experience using Atlassian tools like Jira and Confluence
  • Experience in the real estate industry or with MLS data


Education and Experience:

Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field, and five or more years of development experience, or equivalent demonstrated skills and experience
