Job Title: DevOps Manager

Compensation Package: $160,000 - $190,000 yearly pay + 10% Bonus

Position Overview:
We are seeking a DevOps Manager with a strong technical background and proven leadership skills to oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of our technology infrastructure. This is a hands-on role, with a 50/50 split between hands-on technical work and people management. You will lead and manage our DevOps team, driving the adoption of best practices for software development, deployment, and operations, ensuring seamless integration across development, IT, and product management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the DevOps team, fostering a positive, can-do, and supportive attitude to bind Dev, QA, DevOps, and Infosec into an effective team.
- Oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of technology infrastructure.
- Drive the adoption of DevOps principles, practices, and tools, including CI/CD and infrastructure automation.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of development and operations for efficient and reliable software delivery.
- Contribute directly to infrastructure and operations tasks through scripting and programming.
- Analyze complex issues and provide effective solutions for problem-solving and troubleshooting.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
- 5+ years of experience in DevOps with a solid background in software development and IT operations.
- Management experience with the ability to inspire and motivate cross-functional teams.
- DevOps background with ability to be hands-on (50/50 hands-on and people manager).
- Experience with AWS, Laravel, and CI/CD.
- Deep understanding of DevOps principles, practices, and tools, including infrastructure automation and configuration management.
- Proficiency in scripting and programming languages (e.g., Python, Bash, PowerShell).
- Knowledge of containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes) and microservices architecture.
- Strong problem-solving, troubleshooting, communication, and collaboration skills.
- Nice to Have: Cloudflare experience, Industry experience (E-commerce, Fitness, Health & Wellness).
- Relevant certifications such as AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, Azure DevOps Engineer, or Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA) are a plus.
Compensation Package:
- $160,000 - $190,000 yearly pay + 10% Bonus
