We are seeking a Cloud AWS Project Manager to lead complex cloud initiatives at one of Europe’s busiest and most innovative airports. You will play a pivotal role in overseeing the planning, execution, and delivery of cloud-based solutions, collaborating with a talented team of DevOps engineers, cloud engineers, architects, and product owners. This is an exciting opportunity to work at the intersection of technology and aviation.

As a Cloud Project Manager, you will be responsible for driving end-to-end project delivery, ensuring alignment across teams, and managing cloud migration, optimization, and innovation initiatives. You will guide the technical and strategic direction of projects, working closely with stakeholders to ensure the integration of cloud technologies to meet business goals.

Key Responsibilities

• Project Leadership: Lead cloud projects using AWS, ensuring on-time, on-budget, and on-scope delivery. Oversee the entire project lifecycle, from requirements gathering to deployment and post-launch support.
• Team Collaboration: Work closely with a cross-functional team of DevOps engineers, cloud engineers, architects, and product owners to design and implement scalable, secure, and cost-efficient cloud solutions.
• Stakeholder Management: Serve as the primary point of contact for all project-related communication, ensuring regular updates and addressing any issues or risks that may arise.
• Cloud Strategy & Implementation: Work with cloud architects to design cloud-native solutions using cloud services.
• Budget & Resource Management: Monitor project budgets, resource allocation, and timelines to ensure optimal utilization and minimize costs.
• Agile Practices: Utilize Agile methodologies to manage project sprints, track progress, and adjust plans as necessary to meet business and technical objectives.

Key Requirements

• Minimum of 5+ years of project management experience, with a strong focus on cloud technologies and working with cross-functional teams.
• Deep knowledge of cloud services (Happy to consider people with a multi cloud background)
• Proven experience managing complex cloud projects from initiation to delivery.
• Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and guide a diverse group of engineers and technical professionals.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English. Dutch language skills are a plus, but not essential.
• Strong analytical skills with a focus on solving complex technical and operational challenges.
• Ability to work effectively with multiple stakeholders, both technical and non-technical, in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• AWS Certified Solutions Architect, AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, or equivalent certifications are a plus.
