We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Instructional Designer to join our team and document EPAM’s internal workflows and processes.
In this role, you will focus on creating structured, written materials such as articles, handbooks, and playbooks to help employees and managers navigate tools, workflows, and operational standards. You will work closely with subject matter experts and stakeholders across the organization to simplify complex procedures into clear and actionable content.

Responsibilities
- Research, write, and organize internal process materials to make them accessible for both human readers and LLM-based tools
- Develop and update employee playbooks covering essential workflows such as onboarding, staffing, development, relocation, and travel
- Create playbooks for operational roles like Talent Managers and Resource Managers, providing a process owner perspective to complement employee-facing documentation
- Continuously review and update content to reflect policy changes, stakeholder feedback, and chatbot testing insights
- Ensure consistency and alignment across platforms such as InfoPortal and Coda.io, while maintaining coherence with related documents
- Conduct interviews with stakeholders and subject matter experts to gather accurate and detailed information
- Collaborate with teams like Talent Acquisition, Hiring, and Talent Management to define content scope, terminology, and structure
- Adapt existing articles into onboarding materials and training modules to support employee learning and development
- Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Technical Writing, Instructional Design, or a related field
- At least 2 years of experience as an Instructional Designer or in a similar role
- Proven ability in instructional design, technical writing, knowledge management, or internal communications
- Skilled at presenting complex information in a clear and organized format for diverse audiences, including both general users and subject matter experts
- Strong stakeholder management and interviewing skills to gather valuable insights
- Hands-on experience with content management tools such as Confluence, Coda.io, or similar platforms
- Native-level English writing proficiency with a focus on clarity and precision
- Self-driven, detail-oriented, and capable of handling multiple priorities independently
- Familiarity with LLM-based tools and an understanding of their capabilities, use cases, and limitations
- Strong analytical and communication skills for navigating complex problem spaces effectively
- Advanced English proficiency (written and spoken) at a C1 level or higher
- Experience working in large-scale IT or consulting organizations with exposure to complex systems and structures
- Understanding of HR, talent management, or operational processes to enhance the relevance of created content
- Experience in designing chatbot content or writing for conversational user interfaces to improve usability and engagement
