About the opportunity:

We are seeking a DevOps Cloud Engineer who will be responsible for products and projects related to Cloud Plataforms.

The company is a major electronics and home appliance retailer, well-known in Portugal and also present in Spain. Part of a Portuguese business group, it is a reference in technology and appliances, offering a wide range of products, from smartphones, computers, and televisions to home appliances like refrigerators, washing machines, and personal care items.

This is a hybrid opportunity (2x week in Carnaxide)

Contract Duration:

8 months (Starting January 2025)

Responsibilities:

• Design high-level diagrams for infrastructure, tools, and processes;
• Perform in-depth analysis of potential risks and develop corresponding preventive/corrective measures;
• Create an evolution plan for the platforms (systems and processes) under your responsibility;
• Oversee the progression of systems from non-production to production environments, analyzing their performance and automating evolutionary and corrective measures whenever applicable;
• Ensure the resilience of the platforms under your responsibility, maintaining an acceptable SLA for the company;
  
  

Required Qualifications:

• In-depth knowledge of source control management;
• Specialized knowledge in Linux OS;
• Understanding of DevOps concepts and practices;
• Experience in implementing CI/CD pipelines;
• Cloud provider skills: AWS, GCP, or Azure;
• Experience with container-based applications;
• Experience with Kubernetes;
• Vision and ability to define and set up processes;
• Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code;
• Previous experience in software development.
