About this opportunity:

Our Ericsson Estonia People Function is looking for a people/HR specialist to join our team. The People Operations Specialist plays a critical role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operations of our People team in Tallinn. This role involves managing People processes, maintaining employee records and contracts, and providing administrative support to ensure our people policies and procedures are effectively implemented.

This role is a full time hybrid position (3 days per week on site) at Peterburi tee 67a, Tallinn Estonia.

What you will do:

  • Work together with people team, managers and employees
  • Provide administrative support to local People team
  • Manage employment contracts and other employee related documents according to Ericsson processes and Estonia local legislation
  • Maintain employee related data in local & global HR systems
  • Support leaders to ensure high satisfaction for new employees onboarding in Ericsson Estonia (prepare onboarding plans, documentation & trainings)
  • Support and advise employees with day-to-day questions related to people processes and way of working, basic queries related to labour law
  • Identify improvement opportunities in the processes and participate in local and global People improvement projects

The skills you bring:

  • Previous experience in a similar people operation/HR support role
  • Keen interest in working with people and in HR field
  • Some familiarity and experience working different HRIS/CRM and payroll systems/applications
  • Foundational knowledge and understanding of Estonian employment legislation and law
  • Immaculate attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality
  • Excellent communication skills, well organized, proactive and flexible nature
  • Ability to make decisions quickly and work independently, open-mindedness to changing environment
  • Advanced MS Office skills
  • Fluent Estonian and English language skills, Russian is an advantage
  • Higher education in HR field or in a process of obtaining
  • Positive attitude for learning new things and you enjoy working in a team
