Scrum Master

Position Description

We are seeking a Scrum Master to support an agile team focused on lending operations within the financial services sector. This role is part of a broader initiative aimed at automating customer support processes, with the goal of enhancing service quality and operational efficiency. You will be instrumental in enabling agile delivery, fostering team collaboration, and ensuring alignment with business objectives.

Monthly salary range: 2800 - 3500 Euro/month (gross)

Your future duties and responsibilities

• Facilitate all Scrum ceremonies (daily stand-ups, sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives)
• Support the Product Owner in managing the backlog and planning releases
• Coach the team on Agile principles and best practices
• Identify and remove impediments to ensure smooth delivery
• Track team progress using Jira and other tools
• Promote a culture of continuous improvement and high performance
• Collaborate with stakeholders to align on goals and priorities
• Ensure transparency and communication across teams
  
  

Required Qualifications To Be Successful In This Role

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Business, or a related field
• 4+ years of experience as a Scrum Master or Agile Coach
• Strong understanding of Agile frameworks (Scrum, Kanban)
• Experience working with Jira, Confluence, and other agile tools
• Excellent facilitation, leadership, and conflict resolution skills
• Fluent in English and Latvian (spoken and written)
• Scrum Master certification (CSM, PSM) is a strong plus
• Experience in the finance sector is an advantage
