Java Software Engineer

Our client is a fast-growing Dutch AI firm with one clear mission: to make healthcare more enjoyable and efficient by reducing the administrative burden on healthcare professionals. They achieve this by developing innovative software solutions based on their proprietary AI models, which run on their own hardware in the Netherlands.

They are already the market leader in speech recognition software for general practitioners. In the coming year, they're expanding into other healthcare sectors, such as hospital care and mental health services (GGZ). And for that, they need you!

Job Description

As a Software Engineer, you’ll work closely with a small and dedicated team to scale and enhance our software-as-a-service platform for speech recognition and administrative automation. This includes:

*Contributing to the development of a scalable system that supports our growth and ambitions

*Building new features in our backend

*Expanding our API and working on integrations with third-party applications

*Integrating new features into our frontend

What They're Looking For

*MUST BE fluent in Dutch, as the rest of the team communicates in Dutch

*At least 3 years of relevant work experience

*Experience with Java

*Familiarity with modern web frameworks (preferably Angular)

*Experience with Git and code reviews

*Affinity with social or societal impact

*Not allergic to or afraid of our friendly office dogs

*Experience with large language models (LLMs)

*Experience with Kubernetes, Docker, and/or GitOps

*Experience with monitoring tools like Prometheus and Grafana
