Cyber Security Architect

We’re currently looking for a Cyber Security Architect to join the internal security team of a well-known Swiss public organisation.

The role is focused on reviewing and contributing to the security architecture of complex systems, with particular attention to network and OT security.

Your responsibilities will involve reviewing solution designs, contributing to internal security standards, and supporting teams with technically sound input throughout the project lifecycle.

This is a great fit for someone who enjoys working at the architectural and strategic level, and who brings technical depth to challenge designs constructively and influence direction across multiple projects.

Your responsibilities

• Review security architecture and solution designs
• Direct report to the CISO, with deep involvement into compliance and regulatory topics
• Act as the main point of contact for security questions within project teams
• Help define internal security guidelines and reference architectures
• Ensure alignment with internal standards and regulatory expectations

Your profile

• Experience defining and enforcing security policies and concepts
• Solid understanding of network security, network zoning, cloud connectivity, and application security
• Familiarity with common security standards and frameworks (e.g. ISO 2700x, NIST CSF, IKT-Minimalstandard, OWASP SAMM, BSI IT-Grundschutz)
• Experience with risk management and frameworks like ISO 27005 or ISO 31000
• Practical experience with PKI (Public Key Infrastructure)
• Security certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or similar are an advantage
• Very good German and English skills
