Description

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Frontend React Engineer to join a newly formed scrum team. This role involves developing and enhancing the user interface and user experience for the CDF, working closely with backend engineers and product and design teams. You will be instrumental in implementing new features, improving the service’s usability and responsiveness, and ensuring a delightful user experience for extracting and validating data from industrial documents.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Frontend Engineer with a strong focus on React and/or Typescript.
• Solid understanding of modern JavaScript (ES6+) and Typescript.
• Experience with state management libraries (e.g., Redux, Context API).
• Experience with building responsive web applications.
• Familiarity with consuming RESTful APIs.
• Knowledge about SPA (micro-frontend architecture).
• Experience with Jotai (client state management).
• Experience with React Query (server state management).
• Experience with Playwright & RTL for testing.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively in an agile development environment.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to write clean, efficient, and well-documented code.
• Excellent communication skills and experience working in an English-speaking team.
• Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in Computer Science, a natural science field, or equivalent practical experience.

• Experience with UI component libraries.
• Familiarity with testing frameworks (e.g., Jest, React Testing Library).
• Experience with performance optimization for frontend applications.
• Knowledge of industrial data or domain-specific documentation.

Job responsibilities

• Design and implement elegant and intuitive user interfaces for the Docparser feature using React and Typescript.
• Collaborate closely with backend engineers to integrate frontend components with backend services via APIs.
• Work with UX/UI designers to translate wireframes and mockups into high-quality, responsive web applications.
• Implement features that allow users to easily upload documents, define schemas, trigger parsing tasks, and review/validate extracted data.
• Ensure the frontend application is performant, scalable, and maintainable, adhering to SDLC and quality standards.
• Actively participate in sprint planning, backlog grooming, and code reviews.
• Collaborate effectively with a distributed team and cross-functional stakeholders.
• Troubleshoot and debug frontend issues.
