WHY BOX NEEDS YOU

As the leader in intelligent content management, Box helps enterprises transform how people work together. With Box Sign we are enabling all businesses to manage their e-signature document flows in the same place where content lives. The team is growing very fast to bring Sign to all the customers using Box and to simplify their needs of signing critical business documents. This is a hybrid role based in our Amsterdam office and would require coming into the office 3x per week.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

  • You'll be a part of the team to build, improve and support Box Sign platform.
  • Get to work with cutting-edge technologies that are defining the future of the cloud.
  • Team up with other engineers to foster solid engineering principles and represent our engineering values.
  • Utilize both your technical and interpersonal skills to lead large scale projects to completion.
  • Collaborate, influence and drive for improvement across scrum teams.
  • Model solid engineering practices around architectural design, testability, scalability and maintainability.
  • Partner with product managers, designers and other cross-functional stakeholders to align on requirements and understand how your work will impact the business.
  • Participate in our on-call rotation, available at all times while on-call to help respond to and triage any issues that arise.

WHO YOU ARE

  • You have 3+ years of professional software development experience in an object-oriented or functional programming language, ideally in Python/Django, other languages are welcomed too.
  • You are a problem solver and you look for a team of like-minded people.
  • You like to be an owner and strive to do work you're proud of, both technically and in your team interactions.
  • You appreciate an efficient developer environment.
  • You are passionate about solving hard technical problems.

Box lives its values, with community and in-person collaboration being a core part of our culture. Boxers are expected to work from their assigned office a minimum of 3 days per week, with a focus on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays.
