Network Engineer

Technical Expertise

· Strong Understanding of traditional network technologies Routers Switches

· Cisco Routers Catalyst Nexus switches

· Strong Understanding of Data center Infrastructure

· Strong Understanding of routing protocols BGP OSPF EIGRP

· Managed a multisite MPLS network

· Understanding of tenants VRFs and BD

· Understanding of security technologies Firewalls IPSIDS Content filtering

· CCNA or CCNP is preferred

Job Responsibilities

· Manages network LANWAN incidents and SLA are met

· Raise and implement various network related changes following the client process

· Having required knowledge to troubleshoot business impact network outage issues and implement emergency changes if required

· Follows standardize network routers and switches configuration following the engineering standard documents

· Follows Tech refreshEnd of life products replacement projects etc

· Join and assist in TECCCritical Incident calls when required

· Provide technical guidance to Junior engineers

· Ability to provide technical solutions for unknown issues

· Join and assist in TECC Critical Incident calls when required
