We are seeking a skilled and experienced Senior Data Analyst to drive impactful data initiatives that improve business intelligence and streamline decision-making processes.

You will play a pivotal role in enhancing our data architecture and framework, ensuring high-quality standards for data traceability and usability across the organization.

The position requires hybrid work 3 days per week in the office.


Responsibilities


  • Document data sources in scope and create detailed functional and non-functional requirements
  • Establish a formal data stewardship process leveraging business and technical metadata registration (Catalog L1 and L2)
  • Design and deploy data quality frameworks driven by externalized business rules and data pipelines
  • Redesign and refine data models that enhance the usability and scalability of data products
  • Enable direct integration of applications with standardized ingestion patterns using streaming, APIs, files, and SQL sources, including Change Data Capture (CDC)
  • Coordinate closely with business stakeholders for requirements gathering, prioritization, and clarification sessions
  • Conduct regular “Show & Tell” demonstrations with business users to present solutions and gather feedback
  • Facilitate the identification and classification of Critical Data Elements (CDE) through robust data lineage procedures
  • Collaborate across teams to enhance data visibility and evaluate the impact of identified data issues
  • Maintain and update the backlog of features, ensuring alignment with evolving priorities and objectives


Requirements


  • 3+ years of experience in source data analysis, requirements documentation, and logical data modeling
  • Strong skills in SQL and proficiency in data pipeline integration patterns such as streaming, APIs, files, and CDC
  • Background in designing technical and business metadata registration for data lineage and data stewardship
  • Understanding of business rule-driven data quality frameworks and implementation approaches
  • Capability to coordinate with clients for gathering requirements, clarifications, and Show & Tell demonstrations
  • Expertise in creating and enhancing data models to support scalable data products
  • Competency in leveraging standardized ingestion methods to integrate various application systems
