Java Back‑End Developer (225-725)

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Java Back-End Developer to join our dynamic tech team. As a Java Back-End Developer, you will be responsible for managing and enhancing our server-side applications and ensuring high performance and responsiveness to requests from the front-end. You will be working closely with other developers, product managers, and quality assurance team members to deliver high-quality software solutions. Your role is crucial in ensuring that our backend operations are efficient, secure, and scalable. Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain reliable and efficient Java server-side applications.
• Collaborate with front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements using server-side logic.
• Develop and maintain robust code while adhering to best practices and coding standards.
• Conduct software analysis, programming, testing, and debugging of applications.
• Ensure the scalability, performance, and responsiveness of back-end applications.
• Collaborate in an Agile development environment, participating in daily stand-ups and sprint planning.
• Implement security and data protection processes for back-end applications.
• Optimize and refactor existing Java applications to enhance performance and scalability.
• Monitor application performance and conduct load tests to ensure efficiency.
• Participate in code reviews, providing guidance and feedback to peers.
• Create and maintain documentation on application development and changes.
• Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to stay competitive.
  
  

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• Proven experience as a Java Back-End Developer or in a similar role.
• Strong proficiency in Java and Java-based frameworks such as Spring or Hibernate.
• Experience with RESTful APIs, web services, and integration patterns.
• Knowledge of relational databases and SQL; experience with NoSQL databases is a plus.
• Familiarity with Agile and Scrum development methodologies and practices.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently as well as in a team.
