Implementation Engineer – Nordic B2B Implementation

You’ll lead network solution rollouts that directly support digital transformation for businesses across the region. About Your Role

As an Implementation Engineer within the Nordic B2B SmartConnect team, you will play a pivotal role in delivering high-quality network solutions to our B2B customers. This position requires a balanced combination of technical expertise and strong interpersonal skills to ensure the successful rollout of large-scale network deploymentsfrom design to deployment. You will work closely with Architects, Solution Specialists, and external partners to get a holistic overview and essentially build the customers solution, ensuring a seamless transition from project start to operational handover. Overall, you will be part of an organization of around 25 people across the Nordics.

You are expected to have a proactive mindset, be comfortable reaching out to internal and external stakeholders, and thrive in a role that combines people interaction with advanced networking technologies.

Here are some examples of key responsibilities during a typical day:

• Manage and coordinate the mass rollout of network projects in pre- and post-implementation phases and ensure full operational readiness and holistic deployment of customer solutions
• Collaborate with Solution Architects during planning, solution design, and rollout stages and support Solution Specialists in post-rollout needs like change orders and basic customer consultations
• Manage coordinate site-level and regional rollout plans in collaboration with project managers and field engineers
• Drive technical onboarding and delivery toward handover to operations
• Identify and mitigate blockers during delivery, and escalate when needed and manage technical execution, including deployment blocks and solution components.

Who We Are Looking For

We’re looking for a hands-on engineer who sees the bigger picture. You enjoy translating solution designs into reality — and making sure every detail works. You’re someone who’s confident leading a technical delivery, thrives in structured project settings, and doesn’t hesitate to pick up the phone to move things forward.

To Succeed In This Role, We Believe You Have

• At least 1+ years of experience in a network engineering or implementation role
• Proficiency in routing, switching, and rollout planning, with deployment and configuration hands-on experience in platforms such as Aruba, Versa, Fortinet, and underlay solutions
• Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to with the ability to simplify technical concepts for various audiences and engage directly with both customers and subcontractors — including managing delivery expectations
• Professional proficiency in English; knowledge of a Nordic language is a strong advantage
