Working as a Global Product Manager, you will be a key member of the marketing and sales team in ABB's Power Protection Product Group, defining marketing plans, including marketing communication, training and sales initiatives.

Accountable for the long-term profitable growth of assigned product lines. Manage the marketing of the ABB’s UPS offering to targeted market segments, and managing offering through all of its life cycle phases, according to market needs and ABB’s Power Protection Global Product Group strategy and targets. Support business results by overseeing all steps of the offering life cycle including development, launch, go-to-market, maintenance, pricing, and profitability.

Your responsibilities

• Contribute to development of new portfolios by leading customer need and value analysis
• Plan the roadmap to create maximum value and follow-up of offering portfolio performance
• Define value proposition per segment and channel and ensure clear communication to channels and users
• Own the technical and market specification for the offering and determination of a business plan that supports sustainable growth
• Prioritizing new offering development projects with responsibility for achievement of targets and coordinating cross-functional teams
• Initiates and drives product market communication strategy, including product launch planning and implementation
• Monitors global sales target fulfilment and tender volumes and takes action as appropriate
• Leads life cycle management process
• Responsible for offering profitability and margin
• Drive the annual / quarterly business planning process
  
  

Your background

• Minimum Bachelor’ Degree, MBA preferred
• Minimum 12 years in strategic marketing or similar role in industry
• Previous experience in electric (High, Medium Low Voltage Products and Systems) and Automation industry
• Previous experience in UPS industry
• Understanding of mission critical segments: Data Center, Infrastructure, Utility
• Strong technical acumen, experience influence key customers, and partners
• Familiar with agile/scrum methodoloy
• Experience in leading in a high matrix organization
• Experience in leading mid-size teams
• Ability to influence the organization on the strategic direction of the business, and drive tangible and concrete actions to ensure progress.
• Strong executive level presentation and communications skills
• Superior business acumen and analytical skills & Global mindset
• Fluent in English
