Job Type: One-year Renewable Contract

We are seeking a motivated Junior Golang Developer with at least 6 months of hands-on experience. The selected candidate will support the development and maintenance of cloud-native and backend systems, collaborating with experienced developers and learning industry best practices in a dynamic, growth-focused environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in designing, developing, and maintaining scalable backend services and APIs using Golang.
• Write, test, and debug clean, efficient Go code under the guidance of senior engineers.
• Collaborate in agile teams, contribute during code reviews, and attend technical discussions.
• Integrate with RESTful APIs and third-party services as needed34.
• Participate in troubleshooting and resolving minor application or infrastructure issues.
• Help maintain documentation and adhere to established coding standards.
• Support DevOps practices such as basic container usage (Docker), version control (Git), and CI/CD workflows as required.

Key Skills & Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months of practical experience with Golang (Go programming language).
• Familiarity with basic backend principles, RESTful API design, and web server frameworks (e.g., Gin, Echo).
• Understanding of database management and operations (SQL/NoSQL: MySQL, PostgreSQL, or MongoDB).
• Awareness of Golang’s concurrency model (goroutines, channels) for performant applications.
• Basic experience with version control tools (Git).
• Good problem-solving and communication skills.
• Eagerness to learn, adapt, and collaborate as part of a team.
