Project Manager-Data Centre Management

Your team

The Technology & Operations Division designs and integrates software applications ranging from portfolio management systems and trading platforms to banking and corporate solutions. The division is responsible for some of the Group’s key innovations while at the same time sustaining business operations and developing custodian and fund administration services.

The Datacentre Services Unit manages the Pictet Group’s 17 data centres. The smooth operation and continuous availability of these data centres are vital for the group. You will support the strategy of the Pictet Group by being responsible for the operational functioning of data hosting.

Your role

Ensure the operational interface and management of data centres activities, being the single point of contact for department services and logistics (electrical installations, cooling, physical security).

• Gather the necessary information to ensure compliance and quality of implementation.
• Prioritize and manage activities.
• Integrate IT equipment of data centres in accordance with urbanization standards.
• Ensure compliance of the result with requirements formulated by the sponsor.
• Monitor proper maintenance of data centres.
• Be a driver of continuous improvement and change.
• Ensure quality control and accuracy of repositories, particularly in DCIM tools.
  
  

Your profile

• Knowledge of DCIM tools.
• Taste for change and an interest in technological developments in your field: urbanization, cabling, logistics, servers, storage, network.
• Organizational, planning, and project management skills.
• Analytical and synthesis skills.
• Good written and oral communication.
• Agility, team player, tenacity, curiosity, and ability to manage change.
• Goood level of English and French.
• Swiss resident or willingness to relocate.
