Lead the execution of medium-size customer projects and ensure that all related activities are performed in accordance with ABB policy, contractual agreements, quality standards, health, safety & environment requirements, financial targets, as well as schedule commitments.

Your responsibilities

• Lead the customer project team allocated to the project, defining main guidelines, allocating project tasks, motivating and monitoring internal and external resources
• Ensure that the project follows execution best practices and ABB policies. Effectively monitor and control the project progress with efficient resource utilization
• Ensure that the project is formally closed out by supporting the Service team until successful completion of Site commissioning
• Coordinate with P&L (procurement and logistics), and successfully procure required services, materials and equipment for the project from external and internal suppliers
• Support Supply Chain Management in negotiations, claims and project changes
• Support the engineering of customizations in collaboration with R&D and Manufacturing Engineering teams
• Be responsible for the technical and commercial documentation of own projects, and support maintenance of the documentation of existing projects
• Act as key contact for the customer and an escalation point for project issues
• Build and maintains strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders and effectively communicate with all stakeholders
• Ensure the project follows and complies with company health, safety, and environmental policies
• Be responsible of Factory Witness Tests organization and execution of own projects and support the same for flow-business orders
  
  

Your background

• Electric/Electronics Engineering degree or similar technical background with adequate work experience
• Previous experience as Associate Project Manager, Project coordinator, or Project specialist
• Min 3 years' experience in similar roles
• Knowledge of Business IT applications (SAP, SharePoint, Office, MS Project a plus)
• Detail-oriented, organized work attitude
• Teamwork oriented, preferably with previous experience in medium/large Company
• Dynamic, positive and open attitude in both business and personal relations
• Strong communication skills, fluent in English and Italian, spoken and written
