At Workana, we're looking for a developer with genuine excitement about Artificial Intelligence, strong autonomy, and the drive to turn ideas into real features. We're not expecting a decade of AI experience — but we are looking for someone who's explored the space, isn't afraid of uncharted territory, and wants to grow fast while making a real impact. We believe AI can help us scale, personalize, and accelerate key parts of our product. But today, we lack the focus and technical ownership to move meaningfully in that direction. This role exists to change that.

Requirements

What you'll do

Proactively research and pitch concrete ideas to apply AI across the Workana platform
Build fast MVPs using third-party APIs or your own lightweight models to test hypotheses
Turn internal ideas and early-stage drafts into functional prototypes
Act as an internal AI reference across squads — not just technically, but also strategically
Work closely with product, growth, and data teams to identify and develop high-impact use cases
Constantly learn, experiment, and turn that learning into shipped value

You might be a fit if you...

Are a Fullstack or Backend Developer with solid production experience
Have already played around with AI APIs or projects (GPT, Claude, DALL·E, embeddings, RAG, etc.)
Get a thrill from testing a new API or reading the latest AI paper
Are execution-first: you like to build, not just brainstorm
Are self-directed, take initiative, and don't need everything defined upfront to get started
Know how to balance experimentation with production-grade delivery
Have experience with Node.js, Python or Go, and are familiar with Docker, Kubernetes, and modern infra
