Middle/Senior Full Stack developer (Java, Angular)

Job Description

At DXC Technology, you’ll be a trusted advisor in transforming our Belgian clients’ businesses. You’ll shine by digitizing our clients’ infrastructure through business domain solutions, processes, strategies, case studies and change consulting. Expect to optimize industry processes as well as developing, implementing and managing IT governance mechanisms.

We are looking for a skilled and experienced Full Stack Developer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in both front-end and back-end technologies, with a focus on Java and Angular for application development. Additionally, experience with modern development practices such as Agile, CI/CD, and Domain Driven Design is essential.

Essential Job Functions

• Assist in the development of software solutions by writing, testing, and debugging code
• Interact with your technical lead, architects and lead designers to execute the whole delivery cycle related to application development and systems
• Assist in preparing technical designs and functionality modeling
• Collaborate with team members to meet project goals, taking direction from senior team members
• Learn and grow within the software engineering field by actively participating in training and mentoring programs
• Configure & test using Java/JEE technologies
• Participate in troubleshooting and resolving technical issues, under the guidance of senior engineers
• Support the documentation of software requirements and specifications
• Work on diagnosing and resolving production issues, with support from senior team members
• Stay updated on emerging technologies and best practices, seeking opportunities for professional development
• Contribute to knowledge sharing and learning within the team
• Identify & share new trends in application development
  
  

Basic Qualifications

• A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree holder in applied computer sciences, applied informatics or a related field
• 3+ years of professional working experience Java/JEE application full-stack development technologies and tools
• Strong experience with Angular for front-end development
• In-depth knowledge of container platforms and Docker
• Experience in developing cloud-native applications
• Experience with CI/CD tools and pipelines
• Understanding of event-driven architectures
• Minimum of 2 years of experience with large business-critical applications
• Proven track record of working in Agile development environments
  
  

Other Qualifications

• Fluent in written and spoken Dutch and English
• Java certification is a plus
