Java Developer (Relocation to Malta)

• Salary: €50,000 – €70,000 (depending on experience)
• Hybrid in Malta setup | Permanent role | Relocation to Malta assistance

We’re looking for a skilled Java Developer to join a mission-driven team focused on building technology that supports safer, more sustainable digital experiences. What You’ll Be Doing

You’ll work across the full development cycle, from shaping requirements through to release and ongoing improvement. Your responsibilities will include:

• Leading Projects: Own the technical delivery of end-to-end initiatives, driving progress from idea to implementation.
• Platform Development: Build and refine a robust integration platform with a focus on scalability, maintainability, and future-proof design.
• Code Quality & Design: Write clean, understandable Java code with minimal tech debt. Help set and maintain architectural standards.
• Supporting Others: Share your experience by guiding and mentoring junior developers, encouraging best practices and continuous learning.

What We’re Looking For

You’re a proactive developer who takes ownership and thrives in both independent work and team collaboration. You care about writing solid code and understand the long-term impact of good engineering decisions.

Your toolkit should include:

• 5+ years of Java development experience
• Strong knowledge of Spring Boot
• Hands-on experience with Kafka and PostgreSQL
• Familiarity with cloud infrastructure (AWS or equivalent)
