Role Overview:

As a Junior Software Engineer, you’ll join a dynamic and collaborative tech team working on next-generation EV platforms, mobile apps, and charging infrastructure software. You’ll contribute to the full development lifecycle—from ideation and prototyping to deployment and support—while learning from experienced engineers in a supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and maintain web and mobile applications for EV drivers and partners
• Development and enhancement of activity based billing systems for our Fleet customers and B2B business partners
• Write clean, scalable code in languages such as JavaScript or Python
• Contribute to backend services and APIs that power smart charging, vehicle tracking, and energy analytics
• Participate in code reviews as part of our Agile development process
• Assist in testing, debugging, and deploying new features
• Stay current with industry trends and best practices, especially around clean tech and mobility
• Collaborate with other stakeholders in the business such as Operations Department, Sales Department & Tech / Field Engineers

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent practical experience)
• 1–3 years of experience in a software development role
• Familiarity with front-end and/or back-end programming languages such as JavaScript, Python, or Java
• Understanding of REST APIs, databases (e.g. PostgreSQL, MongoDB), and Git
• Eagerness to learn, collaborate, and work in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills

Desirable (but not required):

• Exposure to EV technology, IOT systems or experience in energy, utility or banking sectors
• Knowledge of activity based billing systems
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud)
• Familiarity with mobile development (Flutter, React Native)
• Interest in clean tech, sustainability, or transportation innovation
