Financial Data Analyst Trainee

We are looking for a brilliant and tech-savvy Financial Data Analyst Trainee to join our Milan HQ. The Financial Data Analyst Trainee will support the Manufacturing Controller Team team in ensuring accurate financial and operational data management through advanced reporting, dashboarding, and analytics. He/she will contribute to transforming data into actionable insights to support strategic decisions.

Do you match this profile?

  • Bachelor/Master’s degree in Business Analytics and Big Data, possibly with Finance and Economics insights
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Power BI; experience with ERP systems (SAP) is a strong plus.
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills, with a structured and data-driven mindset
  • Previous experience (or internship) in Finance, Data Analysis, or similar finance roles with strong exposure to data tools is a strong plus
  • Ability to manage large datasets and extract business insights through data visualization and storytelling
  • Proactive, detail-oriented, and eager to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
  • Fluency in English (spoken and written); Italian is a plus.

What do we expect from you?

  • Contribute to the automation and digitalization of Controlling processes, improving efficiency and data accuracy through data modeling, automated reports and dashboard creation
  • Deliver ad hoc and structured analysis leveraging data science techniques to identify trends, anomalies, and opportunities.
