WHAT YOU’LL DO
As a People Relations Specialist, you will act as a business partner to the organization, actively contributing ideas to enhance the customer experience while ensuring a fair and motivating work environment. Your key responsibilities include:
- Support management in handling and preventing employee-related issues, ensuring compliance with labor laws and company policies.
- Act as a neutral escalation point for employee complaints, providing clear guidelines and procedures to foster a transparent work environment.
- Implement and oversee training on legal requirements, ensuring that leaders are knowledgeable about employee relations.
- Maintain and update policies, employee handbooks, and contracts, ensuring clarity in working conditions for all employees.
- Represent H&M towards legal authorities, unions, and employment tribunals, ensuring compliance with all local labor regulations.
- Collaborate with internal teams to promote a healthy and balanced work environment.
- Ensure competitive remuneration and benefits, aligned with company policies and local legal requirements.
- Implement and follow up on global and local people relations policies, securing strong procedural adherence.
You will be part of the People Relations Team, collaborating closely with:
- Management & HR Teams – Providing guidance on employee relations and policy compliance.
- Legal Authorities & Unions – Representing the company in labor matters, social dialogue, and employment tribunals.
- Internal Employees & Leaders – Supporting a motivating and compliant work environment.
We are looking for people with:
- 4 + Experience in People Relations, labour law, and compliance.
- Strong knowledge of local labor legislation and collective agreements.
- Proven ability to handle employee issues and promote a positive workplace culture.
- Experience in policy implementation and legal representation in employment-related matters.
- Ability to work in a structured, organized, and business-driven manner.
- Working experience in multinational companies.
- Team-oriented and open-minded, fostering collaboration and communication.
- Result-driven, with a focus on continuous improvement and efficiency.
- Business-minded, able to balance employee needs with company objectives.
- Trustworthy and ethical, leading with integrity and professionalism.
