Network Engineer

About The Position

As a Network Engineer with us, you will be responsible, together with the team, for ensuring that we always deliver stable and fast services to our customers. You will work on everything from capacity planning, designing architecture, and maintaining systems to exploring new technologies. You will also contribute to creating network services that our operations and development teams can use to securely and efficiently deliver new features to our customers. Additionally, you will provide the organization with expertise and advice on network issues and solutions.

You Will Also Work With

• Cisco ACI, ISE, ASR, and Fortigate
• Management and development of existing network environments and solutions
• Troubleshooting incidents and problems
• Load balancing solutions and Firewalls
  
  

You will be part of our Network team with 6 wonderful and competent colleagues who have high standards for keeping our technical environment modern and streamlined. Our network team is like a spider in the web, providing a central service/delivery to internal teams and colleagues as well as external partners. We are constantly exploring new modern technologies that can help us build an even better bank.

We Prefer That You Have

• Several years of work experience in a similar network role
• Previous experience with load balancing and firewalls
• Experience with cloud networking, NX-OS, or SDN data center networks is a plus
• Proficiency in Swedish, both spoken and written
  
  

To be successful in this role, we see that you should have good network knowledge in Cisco and/or Fortinet. It is advantageous if you have a CCNP certification and experience with load balancing. It is also a plus if you have previously worked with virtualization or container networking. Experience in coding, preferably with Ansible or Python, is also beneficial for the role. As a person, you have a strong technical interest and enjoy learning new things. You are passionate about quality, motivated by collaborating with colleagues, and enjoy sharing your expertise and experience.
