We're partnered with an awesome company based in Stockholm who are looking for a Senior Backend Developer to scale their core optimization platform and take a leading role in shaping the technical architecture. Their software orchestrates assets like batteries, solar, and wind in real time which making green energy scalable, profitable, and reliable. 🌱🔋

🧑‍💻 The Team:

They're a mission-driven, technically sharp team based in Stockholm, working at the intersection of energy, real-time data, and optimization. You’ll join a close-knit group of engineers, DevOps, and product experts, all passionate about accelerating the shift to clean energy.

Key Points:

📍 Hybrid setup with 2/3 days/week in Stockholm HQ

💬 Occasional customer site visits in scenic locations (optional but encouraged!)

Responsibilities

💻 Build and scale backend systems with Go and/or Python

🚀 Lead feature development from design to deployment

🛠️ Drive architectural decisions to ensure performance and reliability

🤝 Collaborate cross-functionally with DevOps, Product, and Energy domain experts

📡 Integrate real-time data from IoT devices and telemetry systems

Requirements:

💪 5+ years of experience in backend software development

🐍 Proficiency in Go or Python (bonus if both)

☁️ Familiarity with AWS or Azure

🔧 Strong grasp of CI/CD, infra automation, and container orchestration

⚡ Bonus: Experience with energy systems, ML, or real-time data pipelines

🧠 A curious, systems-thinking mindset and a desire to make a real-world impact
