Elsewhere Entertainment is looking for a Lead UI Artist to join the development of a new IP.
Feed your creativity while collaborating with our team of highly-skilled developers to build something innovative, exhilarating, and expansively entertaining!
As a member of the Art department, you’ll be responsible for leading the visual design, creation, and implementation of the user interfaces for our new game.
As a member of the project, you’ll help take the studio and our game from great to even better—with a focus on inclusivity, mutual respect (for ourselves and our players), thoughtfulness, empathy, professionalism, and collaboration.

Elsewhere Entertainment is looking for a Lead UI Artist to join the development of a new IP.
Feed your creativity while collaborating with our team of highly-skilled developers to build something innovative, exhilarating, and expansively entertaining!
As a member of the Art department, you’ll be responsible for leading the visual design, creation, and implementation of the user interfaces for our new game.
As a member of the project, you’ll help take the studio and our game from great to even better—with a focus on inclusivity, mutual respect (for ourselves and our players), thoughtfulness, empathy, professionalism, and collaboration.
You’ll help us by…
- Work closely with the art director to support the definition of the UI art style (in-game) and quality benchmarks in the required style for the project.
- Explore visual directional concepts and using a variety of techniques, including generative AI
- Hire and manage a small team of artists that champion user experience and
- Create project style-guides, concepts, and assets to support development.
- Provide feedback and direction to team members establishing consistency throughout the UI.
- Collaborate with a variety of teams including art, design, engineering, audio, and production.
- Ensure UI art is delivered to a specification that offers great performance within technical budgets and are implemented in a way that is scalable for a range of platforms and output formats
- 8+ years of industry experience working in the field of UI art/design for games
- 2+ years of leadership experience in a cross-functional team environment
- Strong understanding of the fundamental principles of graphic design, including color, composition, information hierarchy, and typography
- Proficient in crafting high-quality UI elements in both 2D and 3D and implementing them efficiently into the game engine
- Highly organized and able to manage large, complex workloads
- Knowledgeable in the technical aspects of creating in-game UI, covering the full end-to-end pipeline, and adept at implementing art into a game efficiently, with a focus on clean, structured, and optimized processes
- Strong understanding of all fundamental user experience (UX) design principles
- A proactive contributor, keen to learn and develop your skills and to share your knowledge with the team
- Excellent skills in communication and organization
- Represent the UI art team in cross-studio and discipline communications
- Technical proficiency in scripting, shaders or implementation.
- Motion graphics experience
- Experience working in new technology, suggesting features and submitting bugs to improve engine functionality
