System Engineer

The Embedded Competency Center is an organizational unit of Sii, that brings together over 500 specialists in the field of embedded systems/electronics.

Currently, we are looking for a System Engineer to join our team. In this position, you will work for one of our clients in the Automotive industry.

Your tasks

• Plan and monitor work across all product releases
• Analyse system requirements to define and structure system capabilities and features, and evaluate alternative system designs to identify optimal solutions
• Align system architecture with the stakeholders
• Allocate system requirements of any given product release to physical and logical architecture elements
• Define the logical and physical product system architecture and actively drive integration
• Define system interfaces (internal and external)
• Support system FMEA and Technical Safety Concept development
• Care for a good company image in front of customers, for confidential information, and the company's property
  
  

Requirements

• Master's degree in Electronics or Computer Science, or related
• Over 7 Years of experience, preferably in the Automotive industry
• Understanding the customer requirements process and writing technical requirements for various technologies
• Knowledge of creating burn-down charts and forecasting for requirements processing, defining requirements control criteria for test sections, etc.
• Familiarity with UML modelling and with tools such as Polarion/Doors
• Excellent knowledge of the English language
• Team-oriented and honest in relation to the company, clients, and co-workers
• Methodical approach to problem-solving
• Ability to travel
• Working knowledge of the automotive electronics
